Smeg Oven Hinge Replacement Mill Park

Replacing a set of Genuine Smeg 900mm Dual Fuel Oven Door Hinge for  SA9010X in mill park Melbourne. Replacing these hinges can be complicated. The reason for this is the release mechanism for the hinges.

We use a specific tool that can reach in and engage the tap on the hinge then this allows us to set then in place and double lift the oven door .

Once we lift the oven door out of its position we can then place it on a safe bench . We then separate the outer skin from the inner skin to gain access to the hinges. Before doing so we also need to secure the inner glass so that it want slide out of position.

then we install the new Smeg hinges and put the door back to together. A lot of customer ask us what it the best tip we can provide……. We say it be to call the right people to do the job and don’t do it your self .
