Electric Stove Coil Heating Element Replacement 140 mm Westinghouse & Simpson In Ascot vale

We received a call from a client in Ascot Vale 3032 an inner suburb 6 km north-west of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia in the local government area of the City of Moonee Valley.

Their concern was the upright Simpson oven electric  cook-top had a number of heating coils not working properly.

After testing the coils we found three coils had been completely burnt out and the fourth worked OK but was not getting hot enough.  As you can see above we replace the 3 coils and then dealt with the coil not heating properly.

After testing why the heating element had not come to temperature … it was not that the coil was faulty ( as it tested fine ) but the regulator had failed.
