Ilve Oven door repairs Thornburry

Not to far From Coburg our oven repair team attended an Ilve oven door repair not closing properly. There seemed to be a small gap showing on the fist inspection. As there a number of reasons why a oven door will not close properly or leave a gap. On this Ilve oven it turned out to be both oven door hinges that needed replacing.

As you can see in the above slider the first image show the oven door not closing. The second image shows the oven door repaired and closing shut.

The new Ilve oven door hinges are now sealing the door closed and not allowing any air to escape. It;s important not to have air escaping from the oven as it will take longer to come to temperature and therefore use more energy.
