Technika Oven Fan Repairs Bacchus Marsh
With Bacchus Marsh only north west of the state capital Melbourne and 14 kilometres west of Melton we attended to a Technika oven noise. Our Bacchus Marsh oven repair tech was near by to take on the work order.
The Maddingley a new suburb in Bacchus Marsh had a Technika oven that was make a load screeching noise. The screeching noise was coming from the fan only on certain settings and not others.
Looking at the oven fan above you can see two parts to the unit. The left is the fan blade and the right side is the fan motor with the shaft running through the fan winding.
Over time in the case of this oven fan motor the shaft become sized due tho the heat from the heating element surrounding it.. The these oven fans are not made to be dismantled they need to be replaced completely.

So why dose the fan size oven time .. well our tech has noticed the cooling blade was not fitted to the fan . The cooling blade is used to cool the fan motor from over heating. We believe the fan had been replace once before about 3 years ago .
After installing the new fan motor kit the oven was tested and no more screeching noise from the oven . How did our tech quickly find the issue. We as mentioned before the noise only accrued on some settings not all.
Looking at the oven function dial you can see some oven symbols don’t show a fan . So when we used the functions without the fan there was no noise.
